Residencia Albergue Jaca

Jaca is a magic place, full of live, history, culture and leisure. It is located in a unique place as Pyrenees and just one step away from International Canfranc Station or the Royal Monastery of San Juan de la Peña. Only 30 minutes by car are between you and the ski stations of Astún y Candanchú.

Surrounded by magic and nature, Residencia Albergue Jaca is the perfect place to rest after an ascent to peaks like La Raca, Aspe, Acherito, Collarada; Pyrenean lakes like Ip, Ayous o Estanés; an excursion through the mountains by bike or by walk or activities like canyoing, climbing, ski, snowshoes… Everything is possible in Pyrenees!

Without going out of the city, you can visit San Pedro’s Cathedral, the first one built with a Romanic style in Spain, in the XI century. You can also visit the Citadel, built to protect the city as a part of the Pyrenean defence net.

Sports like canyoing, rafting, speleology, climbing are waiting for you nearby Jaca if you want to try new experiences. To have a safe experience, there are some companies with professional guides that will help you to practice these amazing sports.

International Canfranc Station
International Canfranc Station

It was built in 1914, and it has a combination of a great variety of architectonical styles. It was used as a train station between 1928 and 1949, now it has become a museum.

You can walk around it by booking a guided visit; we recommend to book in advance because groups are limited.
